OPEN DE FRANCE CEJJS GI & NO-GI 2026
About This Event
The Open de France CEJJS Gi & No-Gi 2026 welcomes competitors of all nationalities without requiring a BJJ license. Divisions span Children (4+), Teens, Juveniles, Adolescents, Men, Women, and Masters across belt levels from White to Green.
Competition formats:
- Individual matches
- 5v5 team competition (Gi or No-Gi)
- 3v3 team competition for teens and juveniles (Gi or No-Gi)
- Round robin (organized exceptionally)
All matches follow IBJJF rules. Team champions receive belts for their winning members. Video assistance is available at the organizer's discretion for individual divisions.
Schedule: Weigh-ins occur the day before at 18:00 and on competition day from 8:00–11:00. Adults compete Saturday (time on Instagram) and Sunday from 8:30–11:00, starting after children's matches. Competitors doing both Gi and No-Gi weigh in once in No-Gi uniform.
Key requirements: Standardized uniforms (black, white, or blue kimonos; solid rashguard matching belt color) and matching team uniforms for all members. Children in open class and teens/juveniles/children in open class have no weigh-in. Refunds available for children only after match announcement if moving up a category.
