Open de Guilherand-Granges - Kids GI

Open de Guilherand-Granges - Kids GI is a Gi-only CFJJB-sanctioned competition for young athletes.

Registration:

• Gi: €30 (before Nov 23, 2026), €40 after
• Combined Gi + No-Gi: €50 before, €70 after

Format & rules:

• Official weigh-in happens just before each athlete's first match — a single weigh-in, with disqualification for exceeding the weight limit
• Each weight category is capped at 128 athletes
• Athletes must be ready to compete 90 minutes before their category's first announced match

Prizes: Medals for the top 3 in each division, plus trophies for the top 3 clubs and top 3 teams.

Competitors need an active CFJJB license and valid sports passport (not required for the juvenile category), and must bring ID on-site. Note that prior experience in judo (black belt), luta livre (blue belt or higher), national-level wrestling/greco-roman, or MMA disqualifies an athlete from competing as a white belt. CFJJB reserves the right to close registration early if capacity is reached, or cancel the event if registrations are insufficient. By registering, athletes grant CFJJB rights to use event photos and videos for promotional purposes.
