OPEN GI & NOGI SOBREVIVER AVIGNON 2026

OPEN GI & NOGI SOBREVIVER AVIGNON 2026 welcomes grapplers of all nationalities, from children (4+) through Masters, across white to Champion belt levels. Compete individually or as part of a team in IBJJF rules-based competition.

Format & Structure: Round robin format provides multiple matches per competitor. Children compete first, followed by adults. Team tournaments include 5v5 (white-blue belt) and 3x3 (teens-juveniles, open class) divisions, with champion belts awarded to top finishers.

Key Details:

• No license required to enter
• Weigh-in: day before at 18:00, or competition day (children 8:00–11:00; adults Saturday time TBA on Instagram, Sunday 8:30–11:00)
• Compete in black, white, or blue kimonos; rashguard must match belt color
• Weigh-in conducted in combat uniform
• Children (7+) may use triangle, armlock, mata leão, and kimura
• Video assistance available for decision reviews and tie-breaking
• Dual GI/NO-GI competitors weigh-in once (in NO-GI)
• Children refunded only before fight announcements if declining category advancement; single competitors moved up or offered superfights
