OPEN SOBREVIVER GI & NO-GI MARSEILLE

Open Sobreviver Gi & No-Gi Marseille brings together Men, Women, Masters, Children (+4 years), and Juveniles across white, blue, grey, yellow, orange, and green belts, competing under IBJJF rules.

The weekend combines team tournaments (5v5 and 3v3, with round robin in exceptional cases) alongside individual matches. Saturday is dedicated to Children and Juveniles starting at 1pm (weigh-in 1pm–5pm), while Sunday features Adults from 10am (weigh-in 8am–10am).

Notable points:

• No mandatory license required — open to all nationalities
• Uniforms standardized by level: black, white, or blue kimonos with plain rashguards matching belt color; full teams must wear matching uniforms in the team tournament
• Children's divisions allow finalizations (triangle, armlock, mata leão, kimura) from age 7
• In the team format, the first fighter is designated by the team, with the winner choosing to stay or leave until a final fighter decides the outcome for their team
• No refunds — only reclassification or superfight options; no open class this edition
• Competitors entering both Gi and No-Gi will weigh in once, in No-Gi
• Champion belts awarded to the 5-member winning teams (white-blue category) and to the 3 winners in the 3x3 team tournament (teens-juveniles and open class divisions)

Start times are estimates and may shift; updates will be posted live via Instagram and Smoothcomp.
