OPEN SOBREVIVER ST GENIS POUILLY GI/NO-GI

The Open Sobreviver St Genis Pouilly brings a team-based Gi and No-Gi tournament under IBJJF rules, open to Men, Women, Masters, Teens/Juveniles, and Children +4 years across white, blue, grey, yellow, orange, and green belts. No license is required to compete.

Format:

• Team competitions run 5v5 (adult white-blue belt category) and 3v3 (teens/juveniles), with a round robin structure for extra fights
• In team matches, the first fighter is chosen by the team, and the winner decides whether to stay in or hand over to a teammate — last fighter standing wins the point for their team
• Teens, juveniles, and children compete in open class groupings with no weigh-in
• Video assistance may be used to settle tied decisions

Weigh-ins: Saturday 18h–20h or Sunday 8h–10h for adults, done in competition uniform (NO-GI weigh-in counts for both if doing Gi and No-Gi). Adult fights begin Sunday from 9h/10h.

Uniform rules: black, white, or blue kimono only, with rashguard matching belt color; all team members must wear matching uniforms.

Children from age 7 are permitted to finish fights via triangle, armlock, mata leão, or kimura. Winners receive champion belts — 5 for the adult white-blue team category and 3 for the teens/juveniles team tournament.
