PAPHOS JIU-JITSU SPRING OPEN 2026 – GI & NO-GI

The Paphos Jiu-Jitsu Spring Open 2026 welcomes competitors from Infant through Masters across Gi and No-Gi disciplines, following IBJJF rules and standards.

Competition format:

• Kids 1, 2, 3, Infant, Junior, Teen, and Juvenile white belts compete in two matches regardless of outcome
• Other categories use single elimination, with Round Robin format for awards distribution
• Medals awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division

Registration fees:

• Kids divisions: €35 (early bird), €50 (normal), €60 (late)
• Adults: €45 (early bird), €60 (normal), €70 (late)
• €10 discount when entering both Gi and No-Gi

Key details:

• Doors open 8:30 a.m., competition starts 10:00 a.m.
• Weigh-ins begin at 9:00 and continue throughout the day (conducted in shorts and t-shirt)
• Divisions organized by age, weight, and belt level per IBJJF standards
• For athletes up to 11 years old, admission by weight is 500g only
• Categories may merge if fewer than two participants register in a weight class
