POLARIS PSG - 2026 WELSH OPEN

The 2026 Welsh Open is a premier Gi and NoGi event run under IBJJF rules, featuring Junior, Juvenile, Adult, and Masters divisions. Competition formats vary by division size: Straight Finals for 2 competitors, Round Robin for 3, and Single Elimination with consolation for 4+. Absolute divisions use traditional knockout format.

Registration:

• Early Bird: Juniors/Juveniles £39–£59, Adults £49–£99 (depending on divisions entered)
• Normal: Juniors/Juveniles £49–£69, Adults £59–£109
• Late: Juniors/Juveniles £59–£79, Adults £69–£119
• Adult Absolute divisions: £16 (Early/Normal) or £20 (Late)
• Discounted rates for entering both Gi and NoGi

Competition features:

• Minimum 2 matches guaranteed per division
• Adult Absolute divisions offer cash prizes up to £500
• Live broadcast of Adult Absolute divisions
• 2026 ranking system
• Professional 8m IBJJF mats with giant TV scoreboards
• Junior divisions scheduled in the morning where possible
• National-level referees and sports paramedics on site

Logistics:

• Doors 9:00am, competition starts 10:00am
• Weigh-in 30 minutes before your division
• Spectator entry: £5 on the day
• FREE parking, separate warm-up area, crowd safety barriers

• Coach passes allocated based on team size
