RISING BJJ SAARLAND/VÖLKLINGEN SAAR

RISING BJJ SAARLAND/VÖLKLINGEN SAAR brings together competitors from Kids (8–13) through Masters across all belt levels in both Gi and No-Gi divisions. A single €50–75 registration fee (depending on timing) covers competition in both formats.

The tournament uses Rising BJJ rules with round robin pools advancing to single-elimination playoffs for divisions exceeding 5 competitors. Notable features include live bracket updates via Smoothcomp, generous weight allowances (1.0 lb/0.5 kg for adults; 2.0 lb/1.0 kg for under-18s), and no advantage scoring. A strict sandbagging policy with disqualification and suspension consequences applies.

Schedule:

• Doors: 8:00 AM
• Competition starts: 9:00 AM
• Weigh-ins: anytime up to 60 minutes before your division

Gi competitors weigh in without their uniform. Those entering both Gi and No-Gi divisions weigh in only once. Spectators pay €10 entry.
