STALLION OPEN
About This Event
The STALLION OPEN is a No-Gi, Submission Only event with no points scoring — matches are decided purely by submission.
Competitors are grouped into four skill-level divisions based on experience: Novice (1+ year, 5 minutes), Beginner (2+ years, 5 minutes), Intermediate (5+ years, 6 minutes), and Expert (5+ years, 7 minutes). If a match ends without a submission, it moves to an overtime system of back position attack/defense rounds, with a coin toss determining attack/defense order. Detailed rules govern successful escapes and submission priority.
Medals are awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division.
