THE IRISH BJJ OPEN 2026

The Irish BJJ Open 2026 is a Single Elimination tournament under IBJJF rules, welcoming all Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioners across Kids, Juveniles, Adults, Masters, and Masters 4 divisions in both Gi and No-Gi formats.

Tournament structure:

• Medals awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division
• Maximum two athletes per team in the same division bracket
• Team members avoid facing each other until the final (except in three-athlete brackets)
• Weight measurements in kilograms; only one weight cut attempt permitted

Important policies:

• Qualified referees and professional staff
• No black belt coaching area available
• Coaching only allowed outside the barricaded competition zone
• Video recording and social media live streaming of matches prohibited
• Limited capacity; registration closes when full or at the deadline

Weigh-ins occur immediately before the first fight. Doors open approximately one hour prior. A combination discount applies when entering both Gi and No-Gi tournaments.
