UMAC MILTON KEYNES BJJ OPEN I

UMAC Milton Keynes BJJ Open I takes place on Saturday, April 4th, 2026, starting at 9am. The event features Gi and No-Gi competition across Child, Juvenile, and Adult divisions, covering green through black belts under IBJJF rules.

Competition format varies by entry count: best of 3 for pairs, round robin for trios, single elimination with consolation brackets for larger fields, and single elimination for all absolute divisions.

Prizes include medals for top 3 in each division, team trophies, fastest submission awards across multiple categories, and absolute trophies for male and female competitors. A Super Fight is available for all adult belts using black belt rules (18+), with prize money of £350/£150/£50 for 1st–3rd place if 15+ competitors enter; smaller fields see the winner take the full pot, with 2nd receiving a Raine rash guard and 3rd getting free entry to the next event.

On-site amenities include professional photography and videography (free download within 24 hours), food vendors offering açaí smoothies, Guaraná drinks, Brazilian snacks and BBQ, a clothes stall, first aid team, and parking.

Spectators pay £10 (cash only) if attending with a competing child; academy professors can apply for a coach pass via email.

Registration pricing: Early bird (May 16–Dec 20), normal (Dec 20–Mar 16), late (Mar 16–Apr 1).
