WHITEBELT TRIALS - SCHÖNEBECK 2026

WHITEBELT TRIALS - Schönebeck 2026 is a white-belt-only Gi and No-Gi event for Adults, Masters, and a Youth Division (born 2009 or 2010), run under IBJJF rules without advantages.

Regular divisions use a round-robin format (knockout for larger brackets), while the No-Gi Open Trial runs as a knockout with Golden Score for ties — requiring at least 6 competitors per division to proceed. Winners of the Open Trial take home a €200 prize package (€100 OKAMI voucher + €100 Golden Elements voucher) for both male and female categories.

To keep things fair, anti-sandbagging rules exclude athletes with more than 3 years of grappling experience, as well as high-level wrestlers or Judo black belts. A weight tolerance of +500g applies, and there are no late registrations on the day — match times may also shift dynamically throughout the event.

Schedule: doors and weigh-ins at 08:00, first matches at 09:00.

Spectators: €7 entry (valid all day), with free entry for one coach per team and children under 12.
