ADCC Suisse Federation Announces Three-Event Calendar for 2026

The ADCC Suisse Federation has announced an ambitious 2026 calendar, scheduling three submission grappling events across the year as the organization continues to grow the ADCC brand in Switzerland. The announcement signals a significant step forward for the Swiss grappling scene, offering athletes multiple opportunities to compete under the prestigious ADCC ruleset without leaving the country.
ADCC Suisse National Championship - 1 March 2026
The season opens with the ADCC Suisse National Championship, set for Saturday 1 March 2026 at the HesliHalle Kulturzentrum in Küsnacht, near Zurich. The national championship will crown Switzerland’s top grapplers across all weight classes, with medals for the top three in each division and a Best Team Trophy for the highest-scoring academies. The event also features an Absolute Pro division for both men and women, with cash prizes on the line.
Registration is open via Smoothcomp, with spots filling up fast. Athletes looking to compete should register before the deadline to secure their place.
ADCC Suisse Open - June 2026
The second event on the calendar is an ADCC Suisse Open scheduled for June 2026. Exact dates and venue details are yet to be confirmed, but the open format means the tournament will welcome competitors from all countries, not just Swiss nationals. This makes it an attractive option for grapplers across Europe looking for high-level ADCC-rules competition during the summer months.
ADCC Suisse Open - November 2026
The federation rounds out its calendar with a second ADCC Suisse Open in November 2026. Details for this event are also still to be announced, but its placement at the end of the year gives athletes a final chance to test themselves in competition before the off-season.
Growing the Sport in Switzerland
With three events spread across the year, the ADCC Suisse Federation is providing a consistent competitive platform for the growing Swiss grappling community. Switzerland has seen a steady rise in submission grappling participation in recent years, and a structured calendar like this gives local athletes clear goals to train towards while also attracting international competitors to the country.
