About This Event
GRAPPLINK - BJJ GI&NOGI EVENT III brings Gi and No-Gi competition to the Junior category, with divisions for White through Black belts. Matches are contested in a single elimination bracket under IBJJF official rules, covering scoring, penalties, legal/illegal techniques and gi requirements.
Athlete check-in and gym opening start at 13:00, with the GranPrix beginning at 14:00 (Gi first, then No-Gi). Weigh-ins take place the same day, immediately before each category.
Prizes:
- Bracket of 8: €130 (1st), €30 fee refund (2nd)
- Bracket of 4: €80 (1st)
- Superfight winner: €120 (prizes may vary if the GranPrix isn't full)
The event's main draw is its Superfights — organizer-approved matches featuring standout GranPrix winners, free to attend with a paying spectator requested. Registration costs €30, while spectator tickets are €10 (includes one drink); athletes get free spectator access, and one coach per academy enters free. The event streams live and free on YouTube, and results count toward the Official GrappLink Ranking.
