KING OF THE MAT ITALY

KING OF THE MAT ITALY takes place on 25 October 2026, featuring Gi and No-Gi competition across Kids, Under 18, Adult, and Master divisions.

Competition format:

• Direct elimination (2 athletes), round robin (3 athletes), or bracket with third-place match (4+ athletes)
• Minimum 2 guaranteed matches per division
• Absolute tournament available (€20, includes 2 disciplines)

Rulesets:

• Gi: IBJJF rules
• No-Gi: IBJJF with modifications—real submission attempts award 1 point, no advantage system, modified penalties, free clothing (men may compete shirtless)

Registration:

• Normal period: 9 July – 14 September (Kids/U18: €39.99–€49.99; Adult/Master: €49.99–€74.99)
• Late period: 15 September – 21 October (higher fees apply)
• Second discipline at 50% discount for Adult & Master categories
• Closes 21 October 2026 at 23:59

Prizes: Medals for top 3; absolute winner receives the exclusive KING OF THE MAT crown; younger categories receive branded gadgets.
