MILANO OPEN II

Milano Open II is a major Gi and No-Gi tournament featuring divisions from ages 4 through Masters across white, colored, and black belt levels. Open to all athletes—no membership required—the event draws Italian and international competitors.

Registration & Pricing:

• Early bird (by Feb 8): €20 kids, €28 weight category, €18 openweight
• Standard (by Mar 22): €30 kids, €38 weight category, €18 openweight
• €10 discount for entering both Gi and No-Gi (excludes Black Belts)
• Black Belts pay reduced rates: €5 early bird, €10 standard

Competition Details:

• IBJJF rules without advantages (per BJJ ITALIA guidelines)
• Weigh-ins 8:00–16:00, competition starts 9:00
• Athletes may compete in both weight category and openweight
• Team prize pool: €1,200–€3,200 distributed to top 3 teams based on registration numbers

Special Features:

• Selection trials for Italian National Teams (10 Gi athletes, 8 No-Gi, 4 kids)
• Selected athletes' expenses covered by BJJ ITALIA
• Ranking points awarded: Black Belts earn up to 25 points for 1st place; colored belts and others earn scaled points plus bonuses for wins and submissions
