RELENTLESS GRAPPLING CHAMPIONSHIP - CHRISTMAS OPEN

The Relentless Grappling Championship - Christmas Open is a Gi and No-Gi event for competitors under 12, Kids, and Teens, running on a round robin format with weigh-ins from 8:30am to 12pm. Entry is described as very affordable.

Divisions span White through Black belt, with Yellow, Orange, and Green belts grouped together. Kids and teens compete under IBJJF rules, as do white belts, while blue through black belts may use all submissions (no slamming), with matches scored on points.

Match lengths vary by category:

• 3 minutes for kids
• 4 minutes for teens
• 5 minutes for white belts
• 6 minutes for blue and purple belts
• 7 minutes for brown and black belts

A few extra notes: gi entries don't need to weigh in wearing the gi, boys and girls under 12 may be placed together (or refunded on request), and under-12 competitors are matched within 4kg or one year of age, with refunds available if no match is found.
