Polish Rising Star Pawel Jaworski Challenges Tye Ruotolo for ONE Welterweight Title

The 21‑year‑old Pawel Jaworski, a black belt from Academia Gorila in Poland, has rapidly climbed the global grappling ladder over the past two years. He earned his black belt at just 21 and has since captured major IBJJF no‑gi titles, including double gold at the 2025 IBJJF European No‑Gi in the medium‑heavy and open‑class divisions. Jaworski also dominated the ADCC European Trials in 2025, winning the under‑88 kg bracket with a perfect record and earning recognition as one of grappling’s most dangerous prospects.

Standing in his way is American champion Tye Ruotolo, who captured the inaugural ONE Welterweight Submission Grappling World Title at ONE Fight Night 16 in November 2023 with a decision win over Magomed Abdulkadirov.
